Finally home from a very long, successful trip to California, Vegas, Michigan, and many places in-between.
Ready to get back into the swing of things...which means getting back into photos. And music.
Today I'm posting some favorites from an engagement shoot that happened a few weeks back with Stephanie and Brian. This was an interesting experience, as I don't normally shoot couples I'm actually close with. But it was fun. Especially because Stephanie wanted to do some of the photos at a bar...getting drinks. (Not surprising).
I started working with Stephanie at Starbucks just over a year ago. I don't think we clicked right away...but she somehow became one of my nearest and dearest. I don't think I felt totally 'at home' in this area we've been living in until she took me in. Since most of my friends didn't live that close to me here, I felt a little bit isolated from day-to-day friends. Since becoming friends with Stephanie...I feel like this is really home. And I like it here. I think that's the beauty of change and moving to new places. When I came here, I couldn't imagine that anyone was missing in my life. I love my friends. But now that I know Stephanie it's one of those things that I didn't see coming...but I'm so thankful it did.
She keeps me on my toes. And keeps my alcohol tolerance up. And I love her.
Stephanie and Brian have been dating for...ever. They are perfect for each other. I can't wait to be at, and IN, their wedding. And be friends. Forever. And ever. Amen.
