Back in April we decided to make some pretty major house changes. We had recently started working from home so we needed a solution to not having our own work spaces. In the end, Margaret got the "bedroom" as her work space + music room, and Corey got his own desk in the entrance area, and the bed is in the living room. It seemed weird at first, but we don't really have enough space inside to entertain guests anyway so a bed in the living room isn't so bad after all. Of course once we got started + replaced our carpet and disassembled our house, work got crazy busy and we had to very slowly finish the project piece by piece. But it's finally done. At least for now. Margaret got the laminate flooring + pink bathroom she was dreaming of, and Corey got the ridiculous---I mean ridiculously funny welcome mat he dreamed up, and projector above the bed for an in-home theater. So far the changes are feelin' good!

This was an incredibly romantic, beautiful, perfect, heart-felt day. Caroline + Jason are two creative, hilarious individuals who decided to go to their favorite spot, in some fancy outfits, and talk about life, love, and why they were choosing each other.
After that, they ate their favorite donuts and toasted with some delicious tequila, and I think that's what you call the perfect day. It was so, so much fun. We're SO lucky to have met them and gotten to be by their side on this insanely wonderful day. Go ahead, let their love and creativity inspire you. A romantic afternoon by the beach with the ones you love has to be one of the best ways to celebrate love and your journey together.
Palm Springs is one of our favorite destinations. It doesn't matter that it's often above 110° during the summer, we'll go anyway! It's that good.
For this particular trip, we had the honor of shooting Jeff + Allie's wedding at The Parker. It was such a perfect day filled with so much love and laughter and dancing and all-around celebration. Love was in the air, and we're all about that.
This post can't even begin to cover what we love in Palm Springs, but I will tell you we loved staying at Del Marcos Hotel (free happy hour drinks are provided by the pool, need I say more?) and we love The Parker! Shooting there, eating there, drinking there, it's all just lovely.
