A couple months ago, Corey shot a video for Jagjaguwar artist Gordi in an empty restaurant in Los Angeles. It's a part of his series "Found Sounds", a collection of intimate acoustic performances shot in beautiful locations all over Los Angeles. You can see more videos from his series here: youtube.com/foundsounds

Katie Rose + Luke Bihl got married overlooking the ocean at the San Clemente Historic Cottage. Everything about the day felt like sunny California romance and we loved every moment of it! These two were up for any adventure and took time out of their day to walk down to the beach together for sunset. We can't imagine a better way to start married life together. We are so excited to have been able to work with them and wish them so much joy and happiness in their future together!
Along with some BTS photos from us, enjoy our favorite shots from their amazing photographer Rachel Jane. So glad she was along for the ride that day, she was amazing!!

Last year in September we had the opportunity to shoot.Arielle and Andre's New York, NY wedding. They are one of the sweetest couples we've come across. Their wedding was such an obvious celebration of the love they have for each other and also for their family + friends.
New York City showed them some real love that day, especially when the whole wedding party walked the High Line. Looking forward to going back soon, New York is such a wild adventure.
We got the chance to check out the 29 Rooms installation by Refinery29. And finished off our trip with a ride on the Staten Island Ferry, and a fantastically proportioned milkshake from BLACK Tap NYC.
Corey also spent the week leading up to their wedding music supervising for the WRKSHP. conference and DJ-ing the TWRKSHP dance party. It went so hard James Moes had to be carted off in an ambulance, NBD.
In an attempt to see more of the beauty right around us in California we decided it was time to check out Yosemite. We camped right outside the park for a couple of nights and spent a few days exploring some seriously gorgeous scenery. Our first day there we woke up at sunrise to get an early start, and one of the most beautiful scenes was just driving through the park as the sun rose over the mountains and insanely tall trees.
We hiked to Mirror Lake where we saw a couple of fawns with their mama, we checked out Lower Yosemite Falls, and hiked mist trail up to Vernal Falls. When they say "mist trail" they're being awfully conservative, it felt like we were in a serious downpour, and it was amazing. There was such a bright rainbow over the falls, we couldn't get over it. Or at least Margaret couldn't. The morning we left we also got up at sunrise to get to Glacier Point before the crowds arrived. We spent an hour or so up there enjoying the view and playing some music that Corey filmed.
After a couple of days exploring nature we were both so sore we could hardly imagine walking one step further, and also so inspired and glad we'd gone. Already can't wait to go back.
This day was so magical because we had a wonderful, adventurous couple, and the whole Branch and Cole team playing their parts. From styling to photographing to planning, Branch and Cole really got the chance to work together on a project. We're so happy we got to be a part of this love-filled day!

Kauai was one of the most beautiful places we've ever been. We went at the end of March to shoot an absolute dream wedding for Branch and Cole with Alison Events and really lucked out on the most beautiful weather the whole time! It's a small island so we stayed in the same Airbnb the entire time and could easily go anywhere as a day trip. We could have spent a month exploring but we just had a few days so we'll give you the highlights + our favorite spots!
This is where we swam in small natural pools right up alongside the ocean. It wasn't crowded but that's probably because it takes a little exploring to actually find the entrance and then make your way down the path. Totally worth it once you get there.
Go Blue Adventure
The boating experience of a lifetime. Tons of dolphins, in and out of caves, waterfall views, swimming with sea turtles...it was dreamy. Our guides had so much information to share about the island as well. Be aware if you're prone to sea sickness, it'll happen for suuure. But again, completely worth it and they provided us with ginger ale and snacks to help settle stomachs.
A dangerous spot so be sure and Google around about when to go and what the tides are like. Definitely worth the short hike down, even in the rainy weather we had. Huge natural pool.
The Fresh Shave for shaved ice
Ke'e Beach + Tunnels Beach (INSANE snorkeling here.)
Sushigirl (we went several times...)
Wailua River State Park (rent kayaks and go to Secret Falls. You can swim in and under the falls!)
And basically every waterfall you can make it to, even if you just see it from the lookout.
Ok that's enough, you get the point. We're in love with Kauai, and we gotta go back asap.
Mexico City was such a wonderful surprise! We didn't do much research ahead of time, so we mostly just explored the neighborhood we stayed in, Roma Norte. We walked almost everywhere and everything we tasted was insanely delicious. We would highly recommend a trip to this beautiful city!!
Not only was everyone we met incredibly kind, but after leaving the wedding we shot we honestly felt like we'd been invited guests. We had the best time, and stayed way too late dancing and drinking and eating and celebrating with everyone.
We cannot wait to go back!
Favorite activities were:
-desserts and coffee from Delisa Pasteleria
-churro's from El Moro Churreria
-breakfast at Lalo!
-trip to the pyramids
-exploring the markets
-every mezcal cocktail, taco, and plate of chilaquiles we touched
-can you tell we're obsessed?
Adios...until next time.
